Science Team

The HK and PRD Pilot Air Monitoring Project has a group of scientists, policy-makers, government workers, and business professionals all working together to improve the air quality of the region. This group includes members from around the world, including China, Hong Kong, Europe, and the United States. Thus far, the group has met together on several occasions to plan and discuss the project. The project team is divided into three sub-committees: the Science Committee, the Inpendent Scientific Advisory Committee, and the Management Committee.

The role of the Science Committee is to plan, discuss, carry out, and analyze all scientific information related to the HK/PRD Pilot Project.

The Independent Science Advisory Committee advises and audits the work of the Science Committee, monitors the planning and discussions arising from Science Team meetings, and reviews midterm and final scientific reports.

The role of the Management Committee is to review and comment on scientific discoveries arising from the HK/PRD Pilot Project, oversee the overall project execution and financial management, and plan and administer publicity and public information releases related to the rpoject.
